Below you’ll find the locations for all sources used in the construction of GIL’s biology guides, both in the extended Whoniverse and real life human biology. It uses almost every mention of Doctor Who in anything ever, pretty much, with support from anatomical textbooks, online medical databases, and multiple learning resources used by healthcare professionals.
GIL has taken pains to seek out every extract it could from primary sources across Who and the extended universe in all forms. Each extract has then been interpreted and analysed for authenticity and validity. You can see all of that in the database:

Because of the social and cultural juggernaut that is Doctor Who, there are many conflicts of information. This is where the evidence hierarchy comes into play. First and foremost, conflicting information is harmonised, but if that isn’t possible, the highest on the hierarchy takes precedence and deletes the one below.
